Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Programmer Analyst Seniors in Jacksonville, FL to provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project. Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications. Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications. Maintain, test, and integrate application components. Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented. Demonstrate an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry. Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs. Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation. Suggest technical alternatives and improve and streamline processes and systems. Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations and conduct planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks. Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations, and provide leadership and guidance to other technical professionals.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology or related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: leveraging methods, tools, and technology including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Databases, ETL tools, Job scheduler, Linux and Windows server programming, Splunk, Agile Methodology, ServiceNow, and JIRA; ensuring high availability for complex mobile banking production environment; writing complex queries for data validation and troubleshooting in multiple database engines; managing all batch processes that feed directly into client decision engines and other downstream systems; ensuring optimum server performance by automation scripts, support file systems upgrade; analyzing and translating business requirements into product designs that will run efficiently in the production environment; and creating dashboards and analyzing logs to identify and resolve client issues and meet business needs.
