Description

We are looking for an experienced IT System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background and at least 5 years of experience in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Design, implement, and maintain backup solutions using Veeam software.
  • Provide support to the Service Desk team, addressing issues at the end-user, network, and server application levels.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining SOPs.
  • Take a lead roles in IT initiatives such as Backup/Recovery and Infrastructure Monitoring (On-Prem & Cloud).
  • Investigate abnormal conditions, notify stakeholders, and coordinate remedial actions as necessary.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and services. Participate in IT systems project planning, design, implementation, documentation and maintenance.
  • Crosstrain team members.



    Qualifications:



    • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills, including experience with hardware, software, operating systems, and networking.
    • Strong knowledge of backup concepts and technologies, with hands-on experience in Veeam software.
    • Veeam VMCE or VMCA certification preferred.
    • Self-motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Occasional requirement to travel or work after hours.
