Leap into an exciting opportunity as a part-time Occupational Therapist at May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Wilmington, MA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will interact with amazing students every day, implementing top-notch physical management techniques using Safety Care approved interventions.

You'll also be the guardian of quality when it comes to our occupational therapy programs. You'll drive collaboration and partner with a team committed to educational excellence, including Lead Special Education Teachers, Educational Administrators, BCBA's, and other support service providers. You will lead evaluation and recommendations for annual IEP reviews, provide critical ongoing support and recommendations to staff in the implementation of recommendations while addressing new issues as they present.

Responsibilities:



  • Completing assessments and writing objectives
  • Developing functional activities to meet the needs of the students
  • Providing in-services to classroom staff
  • Consulting to classroom staff regarding students' OT needs
  • Providing direct service when deemed necessary
  • Performing related occupational therapy services as assigned



Qualifications:



  • Graduate of an approved program in occupational therapy
  • Valid and current license as an OT in Massachusetts
  • Demonstrated commitment to student progress
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative of multi-tasking
  • Finds enjoyment working with a multi-disciplinary team
