This CFO opening is for another Prime Healthcare facility, Knapp Medical Center, located in Weslaco, Texas

Knapp Medical Center is a 227-bed acute care, not-for-profit hospital serving the Rio Grande Valley. Knapp Medical Center provides a wider range of services including a 24-hour Emergency Department, Orthopedics, Surgical Services, Women's Health Services and Pediatric Services. Responsibilities

Knapp Medical Center is looking for a Chief Financial Officer. We are looking for someone with at least 3 to 5 years of Acute Care Hospital experience. This position requires a solid understanding of Revenue Cycle Management and expense control. Sound intriguing, then you should also know you will be joining a ROCK solid leadership team focused on the continued improvement and expansion of Knapp Medical Center. Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

    3-5 years of CFO hospital experience required in an acute healthcare setting
  1. CFO experience with a 100 - 200 bed acute care facility
  2. Billing and Collections experience
  3. Working knowledge with CBOs
  4. Strong communication skills with Medical Staff and Management
  5. Strategic thinking
  6. Bachelor's degree in a related field required, prefer CPA certification
