Basic Function
Responsible for finished product quality control and supporting specification compliance testing. Train junior laboratory technicians in quality control and specification compliance testing. Organize, analyze, and communicate test data to others. Manage troubleshooting testing, material, or production problems. Job Duties

A minimum of three to five years of related material testing experience is required. Education Level
A minimum of a High School Diploma is required. Preferred Education Level: A Bachelor's Degree in natural sciences, engineering, or another applicable field is preferred Required Skills
Intermediate-level algebra and proficiency with spreadsheet and word-processing software applications. Good mechanical ability and understanding of operational principles of assigned area's laboratory testing instruments. Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication. Ability to complete all required classroom and CBT training. Ability to achieve high proficiency scores. May require good supervisory skills depending on location. Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

Job conditions require standing, walking, sitting, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements reaching or grasping, lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbs, pushing and/or pulling up to 50lbs, ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates is essential, valid state driver's license and proof of insurance required, and perceiving color difference.
