The HR Business Partner provides Employee Relations support to the field and Corporate HR by performing the following duties.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
* Responds to inquiries from employees/managers regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
* Prepares corrective action documents and, as applicable, employee separation notices and related documentation, after reviewing circumstances and advising management of potential risks.
* Investigates internal complaints of harassment/discrimination and other employment-related issues.
* Assists Corporate Benefits in the administration of FMLA and ADA.
* Responds to complaints from federal/state/local agencies related to workplace harassment/discrimination.
* Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
* Participates in management training for interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review and harassment/discrimination, as needed/requested.
* Represents organization at employment-related hearings and investigations.
