EMT- Emergency Medical Technician

Job Description:

EMT- Emergency Medical Technician-PRN
* Preforms ambulance transportation services & patient care within the scope of practice for EMT-B
* Thoroughly completes all required documentation for each patient encounter.
* Assists Paramedic with patient care as required.
* Provides care appropriate to the emergency population and maintains environment of care.
* Assists nursing staff in triage.
* Participates in continuing education classes.
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
High School Diploma or GED EMT-B or EMT certification through the Kentucky Board of EMS BLS (AHA required CPR certification)
