SUMMARY
The Anesthetist Manager oversees scheduling, payroll and supports day to day operations of the Anesthesia service at the direction of the Chief Anesthetist. The position administers general anesthesia and sedation to all types of patients and for all types of procedures at the discretion of the Chief of Anesthesiology. The position will also be responsible for pre-anesthetic evaluation, anesthetic management and post anesthetic evaluation of surgical patients and other special procedures. Performs airway and pain management. Operates all equipment involved in anesthesia.

QUALIFICATIONS

• CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETIST: Master's degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program. Georgia Licensed Registered Professional Nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) or certified by an appropriate credentialing process and three (3) years of related experience required.
• PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT ANESTHETIST: Master's degree from a CAAHEP-accredited educational program for anesthesiologist assistants. Georgia Licensed as a Physician Assistant & Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (AA-C) or certified by an appropriate credentialing process and three (3) years of experience required.
