Qualifications: The Director of Didactic Education and Principal Faculty, Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine (Clinician Educator) position is a 12-month full-time non-tenure track clinical faculty appointment with administrative responsibilities. The individual should hold a master's degree, preferably a doctorate. Individuals not in possession of a master's degree, but with exceptional educational and/or clinical experience may be considered with the expectation that at least a master's degree be completed as a condition of continued employment. PA Principal Faculty must hold current NCCPA certification, and must be licensed to practice in the State of California. Non-Physician Assistants may be considered for this role, but must have appropriate degrees and/or credentials that are related to their area of expertise at the master's degree level or higher. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of three years clinical experience and a minimum of 5 years teaching experience preferably in a physician assistant education. Faculty must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and should demonstrate consistency in: interpersonal, leadership, and management skills. Director of Didactic Education Job Responsibilities: The Director of Didactic Education is responsible for oversight of the curriculum in conjunction with the Program Director. Faculty should chair the curriculum committee and accreditation self-study committee that focuses on curriculum. Additional responsibilities include:

All other duties as assigned. The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $135,000.
