As an employee of USC, you will be a part of a world-class research university and a member of the "Trojan Family," which is comprised of the faculty, students and staff that make the university what it is.

The Department of Family Medicine of the Keck School of Medicine of USC provides care for every member of the family, across generations and over lifetimes. We aim to enhance the quality of life for underserved and vulnerable patients, while educating future generations of highly skilled, compassionate primary care specialists. Our goal is to combine education, patient advocacy, and evidence-based research to advance family medicine and geriatrics.

The Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at USC is seeking an experienced PA to join our program as a Clinical Assistant Professor/Instructor of Family Medicine. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of didactic experience with a preference to those with didactic teaching experience. This position is for a full-time, non-tenure track 12-month clinical faculty appointment, but part-time could be considered. General responsibilities include teaching and administration of courses, lectures, and facilitation of small group sessions; participation on various program committees; and evaluation and assessment of students. This position also includes some student advisement, participation in research or scholarly activity and service to the program, school, university, and community. The position will remain open until filled.

The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000 (at full-time effort). When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations

USC values diversity and is committed to equal opportunity in employment. Women and men, and members of all racial and ethnic groups are encouraged to apply
