Maintenance Technician
Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Type: Full-time
Shift/Schedule: Variable (day, evening, night, and weekend shifts)

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician performs repairs and preventive maintenance of basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry. This role reports to the Zone Maintenance Supervisor and ensures all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with building systems to maintain optimal functionality.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of maintenance projects under the guidance of the Zone Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders and inspection reports.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years of relevant technical/vocational school coursework or equivalent experience in the commercial industry.
  • Valid Georgia Driver's License is required.
  • Preferred: Experience in healthcare maintenance.
