Where You'll Be:

The LaGrange Environmental Services Team provides a variety of cleaning duties such as, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, etc. to support achieving each department's goals and objectives with systemized daily cleaning assignments. Members of the team utilize a variety of approved procedures and tools to work effectively within the 90 bed acute care hospital featuring a recent multi-million dollar renovation. Baptist Health LaGrange is proud to serve residents of Oldham, Henry, Trimble, Carroll, and eastern Jefferson counties.

What You'll Do:

• Clean office areas, lounges, restrooms, public areas, exam rooms, treatment rooms, etc., daily and according to established guidelines

• Clean discharged patient rooms as assigned in a timely manner

• Clean ancillary areas in assigned areas daily

• Stock supplies such as: soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and keep janitor closet and cleaning cart neat and organized

• Use cleaning chemicals appropriately and with proper dilution ratio

• Report patient complains, unusual behavior, incidents, requests, equipment/safety issues, and concerns expressed by visitors to the appropriate nurse personnel

• Remove waste and soiled linen in a safe and effective manner

• Utilize the Bed Tracking System by logging in/out of work and when cleaning discharge patient rooms

• Utilize assigned pager according to established guidelines
