Job Description

• Coordinates delivery of health care services to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Provides health care services and departmental efficiency in the MRI Department and Diagnostic Center procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
• Directs human and physical resources to achieve an established standard of care in MRI and Diagnostic services.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of duties and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
• Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
• Assure appropriate patient care management and adjust daily operation to meet the needs of a changing working environment.
• Provides adequate scheduling coverage in all areas and posts schedules at least two weeks prior to end of current schedule

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in Imaging Sciences.
• Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry) in radiography RT(R), or certified by Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in nuclear medicine (CNMT) or registered by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalents..
• Working knowledge on areas to be supervised.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers.
• Five (5) years experience or equivalent training preferred
