Job Description:

As Phlebotomy Admissions Coordinator, you possess a diverse set of job-specific and technical skills, alongside key competencies, to perform their duties effectively.

• Requires proficiency in blood collection techniques, such as venipuncture and capillary puncture, and a deep understanding of proper specimen handling and infection control protocols.

• Excellent communication skills are essential for explaining procedures and providing comfort to patients.

• Technical skills include proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), as well as the ability to operate and maintain phlebotomy equipment.

• Patient registration and coordinating information to enable the smooth flow of information and specimens to support the efficient operation of the laboratory.

• Responsible for the collection of blood via the appropriate location and method from patients of all ages in a timely manner for laboratory testing.

• High school diploma or equivalent
