Apply Keck School of Medicine Los Angeles, California A Postdoctoral fellow position is available in the Bionic Ear Laboratory, Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. The candidate will work with Ray Goldsworthy, PhD, to develop new psychophysical experiments and new signal-processing strategies designed to improve pitch perception and spatial hearing for cochlear implant users. Techniques combine psychophysics, signal processing, neural imaging, and rehabilitation towards improving cochlear implant outcomes. We are seeking highly motivated and collaborative individuals with demonstrated productivity. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. with 0 to 5 years of postdoctoral experience after the last degree. Strong background in digital signal processing with emphasis on speech is required. Experience in signal processing specifically for cochlear implants is desirable. The position is open to U.S. and non-U.S. citizens. The qualified candidates should have good oral and written communication skills. Successful candidates will be offered a stipend commensurate with experience as well as health insurance, as per NIH regulations. To Apply: The annual base salary range for this position is $64,480 - $65,883.50.
