The Group:

The Strategic Partnerships team works with leading financial services platforms to support the integration of Sustainalytics' research products within 3rd party platform environments. Our objective is to ensure Sustainalytics is positioned directly within the most important tools, enabling the workflow of our investor clients.By aligning with the right partners, Sustainalytics becomes an integral, seamless solution across the full investment process.

The Role:

The Strategic Partnerships team seeks an enthusiastic, results-driven Implementation Senior Associate to help advance our partnership presence globally. This role will interact extensively with clients, and internal stakeholders to support the implementation of Sustainalytics datasets through third party platform partnerships. A successful candidate will be an expert in Sustainalytics' partnership offering and will work closely with sales, product management, technology and operations.

This position allows you to obtain a thorough understanding of how ESG factors can be implemented into client workflows through the investment value chain. There is opportunity to work in a cross-functional environment, quickly assume new responsibilities, and be a dedicated resource for how clients interact and consume ESG data to internal and external stakeholders alike.

The position will report to the Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships & Indexes. This position is based in our New York office.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with various Sustainalytics and Morningstar teams to manage all aspects of implementation across platform partnerships
  • Be the subject matter expert for third party delivery channels and options globally, and be able to find the best fit solution for the client
  • Be an escalation point for client issues during implementation, and work with stakeholders to resolve any issues
  • Support business development and product management teams for client meeting preparation
  • Support onboarding for Sustainalytics' clients
  • Create and maintain third party integration specifications as required
  • Occasional travel to meet with internal teams & external partners

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience in the index or financial services industry.
  • Degree in related discipline (business, finance, environment and/or social sciences) or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of information flow across the investment landscape.
  • Strong project leadership skills and able to produce results in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to work successfully in a global, dispersed team and company.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience presenting to senior leaders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with ambiguity.
  • Experience developing and executing an implementation plan for relationships, leading to growth.
  • Ability to accommodate occasional travel across EMEA.
  • Alignment with Sustainalytics' mission, vision and values.

Base Salary Compensation Range
$87,630.00 - $148,957.00
