Outpatient Coding Auditor/Educator

Baptist Health is looking for an Outpatient Coding Auditor/Educator to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN

Serves as the Outpatient Coding Auditor/Educator by monitoring/auditing the overall quality of the outpatient coding department across all Baptist Health entities and all contracted staff. This role is responsible for keeping informed and educating the outpatient coding staff on all coding guidelines including all changes and updates. The auditor will assist with maintaining and updating the department coding guidelines. Serves as a coding resource to answer difficult coding questions and to help with training of onboarding coders as needed.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required

• High school/GED

• Associate degree

• 5 years outpatient coding experience

Professional License or Certification
