Job Description
ECU Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness ( CRW) is currently seeking several Recreation Service Attendants.

Join our dedicated team at Campus Recreation and Wellness ( CRW) as a Recreation Service Attendant. This role offers flexible hours and the chance to gain valuable experience in supporting recreational programs and facilities. CRW is committed to creating an environment of belonging and well-being and supports the Division of Student Affairs' commitment to purposeful well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate entrance to the Eakin Student Recreation Center and the Health Science Campus Recreation Center.
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a positive experience when sharing information on CRW programs & services to customers.
  • Communicate effectively (via phone and in-person) by exchanging information so the message is received and understood with clarity.
  • Accurately check out recreation equipment.
  • Perform cash handling to include, but not limited to, selling guest passes, memberships, lockers, and program registrations.
  • Record and document all lost and found items.
  • Perform laundry services such as towels and intramural jerseys.
  • Assist in emergencies as identified in the Emergency Procedures Manual.


Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must currently be an enrolled student at ECU.
  • Must be able to lift and manage a minimum of 60 lbs. Heavy lifting is required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible work availability, including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and sanctioned ECU breaks.
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 8 to 12 hours a week.
  • Obtain valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
