Federal Work Study (On-campus) - Undergraduate Special Collections Assistant

ECU Department of Library Services are seeking an Undergraduate Special Collections Assistant.
The Special Collections division at Joyner Library is hiring! We need a student to arrange and describe original handwritten documents. Ability to read and translate documents written in the French language a plus. Miscellaneous duties such as photocopying, and scanning may be required as needed.

Job Requirements:

Students with sufficient knowledge of the French language to read and translate the language are preferred. Basic knowledge of Word and Excel is required. Additional instruction for the job will be provided.

The successful candidate must be able to work with minimum supervision, be detail-oriented, have clear communication skills, be responsible and follow exact procedure. The ability to lift 25-pound boxes is necessary.

Being able to work both the fall and spring semesters is preferred.

Students who are allergic to dust and mold should not apply.
