Job Description: Summary: The person in this position will work on multidisciplinary project teams serving mining, fuels, power, and public sector clients. This person must be experienced in civil engineering design and analysis related to site layout, grading and drainage, mass earthwork, etc. Work will involve technical assignments such as design with CADD modeling software, construction plans and specification preparation, spreadsheet preparation, site development design, report writing, large-report preparation, construction cost estimating, construction observation, and facility inspection. Assignments may also include working directly with clients, permitting agencies, and public officials. Administrative responsibilities may involve business development, project management, project planning, and scheduling. This person will also have the opportunity to serve as a mentor to junior-level engineers to grow their civil engineering expertise and project management skills by reviewing technical reports and providing guidance on operations-related tasks. The work may require travel for out-of-town assignments. Minimum Qualifications:

A hybrid work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office. This position is based out of Barr's Denver, Colorado, office. Colorado Applicants Only: Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $73,000-$85,000. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus.
