Federal Work Study (On-Campus) - Graduate Circulation Assistant

ECU Department of Joyner Library Services: Circulation Department is seeking a Graduate Student Assistant for the Fall 2024 semester. The Graduate Student Assistant will support the department by covering the front desk, working in the stacks, and taking on any other projects as needed to promote the department's goals. The student will be expected to work with minimal oversight while completing tasks.

On a daily basis, the student can expect to:

- Check in and out materials, answer questions, and assist patrons at the front desk

- Process payments and register borrowers

- Re-shelve returned books and equipment

- Pull and process hold requests for books and equipment

- Assist in opening and closing duties for the department

- Assist with shifting and labelling projects for the department

- Any other special tasks necessary to assist in the day-to-day functions of the department

The Circulation Department is seeking candidates to work the Afternoon, Evening, and Weekend shifts.
