Job Description:

• The Certified Athletic Trainer will provide outreach "Athletic Training Services"* to athletes of a local professional team under the direction of the team physician or by written referral from a physician, and in accordance with state athletic training practice act.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree as a Certified Athletic Trainer required; 5 years of experience in an athletic training field or 3 years of direct experience in the given sports athletic training field may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

• 3 years of experience in athletic training required.

• Certification to practice athletic training in the state of Kentucky via State Board of Medical Licensure required,

• Certification as a strength and conditioning specialist required.

• BLS from American Heart Association (AHA) - required within 90 days of hire.

• Current KY Driver's License in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of disability and problems commonly encountered in the care of orthopedic and sports-oriented patients preferred.
