The Director of Data and Insights is responsible for leading the data strategy and analytics efforts within the organization. This role involves overseeing the collection, management, and analysis of data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. The Director of Data and Insights will work closely with various departments to ensure data-driven decision-making and enhance overall business performance.

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement the organization's data strategy and vision.
• Lead and manage the data and insights team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business growth and efficiency.

Data Management

• Oversee the collection, storage, and maintenance of data across the organization.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
• Implement best practices for data governance and compliance with relevant regulations.

Data Analysis and Insights

• Conduct advanced data analysis to extract meaningful insights and trends.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate key metrics and findings.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, operations, and product development, to understand their data needs.
• Communicate complex data insights in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders at all levels.
• Foster a data-driven culture within the organization through training and advocacy.

Technology and Tools

• Evaluate and implement data analytics tools and technologies to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and technology.

Team Development

• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing data and insights team.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and career growth.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior data analytics role, with a track record of delivering impactful insights.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
