Job Duties:

In this role, theCardiovascular OR RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The RN will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit:

The CVOR is an Open-Heart specific operating room, with two dedicated cardiovascular surgery suites. The CVOR specializes in coronary artery bypass surgery and also offers minimally invasive coronary artery bypass and valve reconstruction and replacement procedures.

Qualifications:

Current Indiana or compact state RN license.

BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

ACLS certification (obtained within 12 months of hire).

Two years of OR experience with an Open-Heart background is preferred.
