Radiology Triage RN

24 Weekly Hours, Part Time, Days (3; 8-hour shifts M - F variable shifts, mainly 830-5p. Works every 4th weekend 3-11p shift)

Job Summary:

A registered nurse implements the nursing process for each patient assigned to his/her care and is responsible for the patient's care within the parameters of the Nursing Practice.

Responsibilities:

• Completes and documents database in Epic if needed according to the procedure.
• Obtains a health history and instructs patient for procedure / treatment in Radiology.
• Assesses the patient's and family's knowledge and understanding of the patient's health status and capabilities.
• Performs routine assessment according to standards of care.
• Provides ongoing assessment as indicated by the patient's status and / or problems.
• Develops individualized age specific plan of care.
• Implements physician orders, assists Radiologists as needed.
• Performs procedures, administers medications, IV therapy, moderate sedation, certain blood products, and treatments as outlined in the Nursing Policy and
• Procedures Manual and in accordance with the standards of the Nursing Department

Requirements:

Active Kentucky RN License.

Cardiac Monitor experience preferred but not required.

BCLS and ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
