EMT-Ambulance Service-Full-Time

• Preforms ambulance transportation services & patient care within the scope of practice for EMT-B
• Thoroughly completes all required documentation for each patient encounter
• Assists Paramedic with patient care as required
• Provides care appropriate to the emergency population and maintains environment of care
• Assists nursing staff in triage

• Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• EMT-B or EMT certification through the Kentucky Board of EMS
• BLS (AHA required CPR certification)
• Participates in continuing education classes
