Emergency Room Technician

Job Description:

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, provides direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures and routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program or other related health care program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education or Emergency Medical Technician.
• Basic Life Support (must be obtained within three months of hire)
