All About You Non-Tenure Track Assistant Clinical Professor Director, Applied Behavior Analysis Program The Saint Louis University School of Social Work in St. Louis, Missouri invites applications for our Director of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program at the rank of Assistant Clinical Professor, non-tenure track. This is a permanent full-time, in-person, 12-month appointment with teaching and administrative responsibilities with an ideal start in January 2025. Saint Louis University is a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service. The School of Social Work was created at Saint Louis University in 1930, and U.S. News and World Report recently ranked the School in the top 13% of programs nationally. Offering degrees in social work (BSSW, MSW, PhD), criminology & criminal justice (BA, MA), and applied behavior analysis (MS). The Applied Behavior Analysis Program additionally offers an Applied Behavior Analysis post-graduate certificate, a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a dual degree option, with a Master of Social Work (clinical concentration) and a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. Our students come from across the country to enroll in our program for its rigor and diverse training. Our graduates have an 80-100% pass rate on the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) exam, well above the national average. Work Schedule/In-person Expectations This position will require a fully in-person schedule. Administrative Responsibilities As the position includes the role of Director of the Applied Behavior Analysis program, the successful candidate will also be expected to engage in the development, organization, and monitoring of required policies and practices related to curriculum and program approval for accreditation with the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI); provide service to the school, university, and community; and participate in student advisement. The ideal candidate and colleague is committed to advancing the ABA program through collaboration with other disciplines through teaching, practice, or scholarship with social work, criminology and criminal justice, education, or other related fields. The ideal candidate must also possess a breadth of knowledge and practice in the field of ABA, as well as an interest in utilizing behavior analytic expertise to address mission-driven activities around social justice. A colleague and leader who embraces self-initiated collaboration and the ability to build partnerships through networking, marketing, and recruitment of students is preferred.
