All About You JOB SUMMARY Under immediate supervision, provide exemplary patient care and assist dentists during examination and treatment of patients; prepares clinical areas, instruments, and materials; under general supervision, provides imaging services. Utilize four-handed dentistry; periodontal charting and instruct patients in oral hygiene and have a firm grasp of dental procedures. Professionally communicate with Dental Assistant team, faculty, and residents, while providing exemplary patient care. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Excellent communications skills * Team player and ability to multi-task. * Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology * Ability to operate dental equipment * Ability to provide imaging services * Ability to maintain infection control and sterilization of dental equipment * the ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA policy MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Additional training beyond high school diploma; supplemented with six (6) months of experience or training as a dental assistant.
