STV is seeking an experienced and motivated National Director of Wastewater Treatment position will foster technical area expertise, provide focus on and research on technology and best practices within a technical area, and contribute to completion of projects on schedule, within budget, and consistent with published company policy. The goal of this position is to build a world-class wastewater treatment team for STV that competes and wins across the United States and other strategic targets offshore identified in the current, and future, strategic plans. STV is currently conducting numerous projects while working at approximately 20 wastewater treatment plants with the goal to rapidly expand the presence, project types and value at these and many other facilities for marquee clients in the industry. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:This position will be part of the National Water Practice Leadership Team and reports to the Water Operating Group President. Other Wastewater Treatment positions such as technical process leads or other specialized technical resources supporting wastewater treatment applications may also report to this role. POSITION CHARACTERISTICS:This position requires strong technical leadership ability along with a keen understanding of the U.S. and Global Wastewater Treatment Market and Resource Recovery Market. This individual shall be goal oriented, take charge, and lead as well as support strategic initiatives for building and growing the wastewater treatment capabilities within the firm. He or she will understand client needs, and be interested in researching, developing, and applying new technologies. This position requires occasional periods of intense concentration, as well as average strength and stamina. This position is within a normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, fumes, etc., and requires occasional travel up to 35% of the time with some periods of higher travel if warranted.
