Open Roads Project Engineer

• Utilize Bentley's OpenRoads, OpenBridge software to develop 3D models, alignments, profiles, corridors, cross-sections, for transportation projects.
• Modify the OpenRoads, OpenBridge workspace per project needs, including the development and or modification of workspace configuration files, and dgnlib files, and SUDA components.
• Mentor and train and provide guidance to other staff engineers in the use of Open Roads
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate design components into overall project plans.
• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for roadway, highway, and transit projects.
• Conduct design reviews, constructability assessments, and quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and client communications.
• Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices related to OpenRoads design.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
• P.E. License in NJ or ability to get it within 6 months
• Proficiency in Bentley's OpenRoads, OpenBridge software and related tools (OpenRoads Designer, OpenRoads ConceptStation, etc.).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in transportation engineering with a focus on roadway design, alignment optimization, and geometric design.
• Familiarity with relevant design standards and guidelines (AASHTO, FHWA, state DOTs).
• Strong technical skills in OpenRoads Designer/MicroStation, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
