Transit Project Manager

STV seeks an experienced and motivated Transit Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams in successfully delivering transportation infrastructure projects. Functions and responsibilities include:

  • Leading, managing, and overseeing multi-disciplinary transportation teams to deliver transit projects.
  • Planning, designing, developing, and delivering capital infrastructure projects for local and regional transit and transportation clients.
  • Participating in teams identifying, pursuing, and securing work with key clients.
  • Building and strengthening relationships with clients, agencies, and project partners.
  • Preparing fee proposals, negotiating with clients, and reviewing contracts.
  • Serving as the primary client liaison and managing project teams to successfully deliver projects within the established scopes, schedules, and budgets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Transportation Planning or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer License in Texas and/or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months, is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 or more years of relevant planning,design, and project management experience on transit infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Client relationships and experience working with the METRO, TxDOT, Regional Transportation District, or other regional transit and transportation agencies is desired.
  • Experience managing the FTA Project Development process and technical activities, including NEPA compliance, project justification analysis, and financial planning.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil3D, OpenRoads, or other design and office software.
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and work within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Active membership and participation in professional societies is encouraged.

Compensation Range:

$114,257.00 - $152,342.00
