JOB SUMMARY:
Plans, organizes, leads, and communicates in a maintenance environment to meet goals in Safety, Quality, cost and delivery through the accomplishment of the following:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspects complete work to verify conformance to customer and plant specifications.
- Directs set-up and adjustment of machines.
- Studies production schedules and estimates work hour requirements for completion of job assignment(s).
- Interprets and communicates company policies (i.e., safety regulations, PPE, etc.).
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, and product quality.
- Recommends changes in work conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists workers in solving problems.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Maintains and organizes maintenance records and time records.
- Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
- Confers with other leads and/or supervisor (s) to coordinate activities of individual departments.
- Performs maintenance activities.
- Provides job training and assessment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of five to seven years' experience as an electrician in a Maintenance environment; journeyman certified preferred.

- Stand in place for long periods of time and use dexterity of hands to handle and feel materials.
