RTI's Sustainable Growth & Resilience (SG&R) technical unit within the International Development Group brings together RTI experts and capabilities across food security, agriculture, energy, environment, water, governance, and economic opportunity. SG&R will leverage RTI's experience designing and delivering multisectoral programming and technical solutions to respond to climate change, build resilience, and promote economic growth around the world. Project Description The Asia Futures activity is a Washington-managed contract designed to bolster USAID's regional policy objectives in Asia. Asia Futures is structured around three primary objectives, to be implemented in collaboration with the private sector, governments, and civil society. These include: 1) Fostering Sustainable, Inclusive, and Transparent Economic Growth and Workforce Development; 2) Strengthening Democratic Institutions to Support Good Governance, Human Rights, and Inclusive Development; and 3) Improving Resilience to Health and Climate Threats. These objectives are designed to operate in an interrelated manner, acknowledging the complex, multi-dimensional challenges that Asia faces. The anticipated program will be based in Washington D.C. and will work with a wide variety of USAID missions, partners, and governments across Asia through core funding and mission buy-ins. Position Description RTI is seeking a Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) for the Asia Futures activity. The DCOP will support the Chief of Party (COP) in overall management of the Asia Futures activity, including ensuring quality control of project deliverables and compliance with USAID rules and regulations and RTI policies and procedures. This position will serve as the second in command and fill in during the COP's absence. Extensive travel over the life of the project may be required. This position will be based in Washington D.C..
