Description

    1. Unloads trucks and trailers containing merchandise from manufacturers and loads materials to be shipped to customers from load schedules provided by transportation personnel.

    2. Verifies accuracy of freight received into the warehouse against the purchase order. Completes material shortage forms when packing lists from manufacturers do not match materials received.

    3. Inspects the material received to ensure that there is no transportation damage.

    4. Stocks storage shelves, bins, and designated yard and warehouse areas with materials received

    5. Assembles orders to be shipped to customers with the use of picking lists.

    6. Operates a commercial motor vehicle on a prescribed route to perform the pickup and delivery of merchandise to AECI customers and assists with the unloading of the merchandise.

    7. Picks up transformer units for repair as directed.

    8. Abides by all state and federal DOT and local regulations.

    9. Informs supervisor on matters related to customer needs and other information that is needed to improve customer relations.

    10. Maintains accurate records and logbooks and maintains a professional manner and conducts business in a manner that is conductive to the cooperative.

    11. The ability to handle necessary stress and work reasonably well with others are essential functions of the position.

    12. Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    High school or GED, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Safe Driving Record

    REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Must be DOT certified or be able to qualify for certification
    Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certification
    Registered with DOT Clearinghouse
    Must possess a valid Class A CDL driver's license.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION



    • Must possess a Class A commercial driver's license
    • Safe driving record required
    • Must be able to work extra hours when necessary and report to work whenever needed during non-working periods
    • Must be knowledgeable in all state and federal DOT regulations that pertain to the operation of commercial motor vehicles
    • Must have a working knowledge of catalog numbers and transformer final assembly numbers
    • Must be familiar with OSHA regulations as it relates to warehousing
    • Must be familiar with freight manifest and other shipping documents
    • In pursuant of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to AECC/AECI standards and processes.
