Forklift Operator - Ontario, CA

Georgia-Pacific is searching for a Forklift Driver at our facility in Ontario, CA. This position contributes to the overall success of the facility by ensuring accurate and timely delivery of our product and finished goods, thus meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers. Location: 2880 E. Jurupa Street Ontario, CA 91761

Salary: $20.00- $23.00/hr. This role is eligible for variable pay.

What You Will Do In Your Role:

* Safely driving and operating a forklift, Loading and unloading materials

* Properly and accurately completing all required shipping documentation both manually and with the use of a computer software system

* Determine available resources for the production and distribution process

* Participate in setting team goals and managing job assignments

* Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment

* Obtain and maintain company forklift certification

Basic Qualifications:

* A minimum of one (1) year of experience driving and operating a forklift within an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment

What Will Put You Ahead:

* Previous experience using a Radio Frequency (RF) scanner

* High School Diploma or GED

Other Considerations:

* Work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment

* Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

* Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
