Assistant Professor, Internal Medicine (Career-Track) Phoenix

The successful candidate will fulfill the responsibilities of a faculty member in an appropriate department, actively participate in teaching, clinical service and/or scholarly work, and must qualify for an appointment at the rank of assistant professor.

The successful candidate will meet the requirements of career-track faculty according to the College and University guidelines.

• Develop a nationally
  recognized and continuously funded research program in the field of stem cell
  and organoid biology.
• Demonstrate scholarly
  activity by publishing results in peer-reviewed journals.
• Participate in both
  undergraduate medical and graduate education
• Participate in advising
  duties and committee assignments.
• Expand collaborative
  efforts with The University of Arizona biomedical scientists and physician
  scientists.
• Participate as a productive
  member of the Department and the College through impactful scholarly work and
  good citizenship.
• Additional duties as
  assigned

• Ph.D. in related field of
  study.
• Post-doctoral training and
  experience commensurate with appointment at the rank of a Career-Track Assistant
  Professor.
• Demonstrated scholarly
  accomplishment in research.

* Experience in lung organoid development .

* Current funding in the area of lung stem cell or organoid biology.
