Duties & Responsibilities
  • Welcoming guests, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
  • Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to guests. Checking identification to ensure guests are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
  • Participant in developing new cocktail recipes.
  • Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bars are well stocked.
  • Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
  • Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
  • Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
  • Ensures safe handling of food, alcohol and equipment
  • Handles customer complaints, actively resolves internal problems wherever possible, and follows through with necessary actions and effective communications.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Must meet state minimum age to serve alcohol.
  • Title 4 certification or ability to earn certification within 90 days of hire.
  • In this position, you may be required to work early mornings and/or late evening hours including weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bartending and alcohol server experience preferred.
