Molex is growing in the Optical Solutions Business Unit and is looking for a growth minded person to join our team as a Marketing Leader. What You Will Do

Objectives of this Role

  • Work with other parts of OCS and Molex Corporate Marketing to drive growth through expanded brand awareness, lead generation, and content development and communication
  • Work with Product Management, Business Development and Engineering Teams on developing value props for our products
  • Work with Molex Corporate marketing team, OCS BU, and external teams to develop content including presentations, blogs, articles, and product spec
  • Develop and implement plans to increase awareness of the Molex Brand across targeted growth markets
  • Ensure that all marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
  • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for program success
  • Compile market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor landscape, and prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing data
  • Identify Personas we intend to reach and educate broader Molex marketing organization
  • Build and execute on plans around thought leadership in selected target markets
  • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to Business Development, Sales, and Product Management teams, and provide instructions for usage and promotion
  • Coordinate with Molex Corporate marketing team on Digital Initiatives including web page design, partner programs
  • Evaluate usage data of Molex.com and work to drive continuous improvement with corporate web team
  • Educate Optical Connectivity Team on potential ways to reach our target audiences
  • Build a strong team by developing early in career talent as well as develop future leaders
  • Event Management - manage directly a few events that are unique to OCS, work with other parts of Molex on OCS participation in events managed by other BUs or Corporate
  • Maintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials when necessary

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • Experience in a B2B environment
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Experience developing and implementing integrated marketing plans spanning thought leadership content, digital campaigns, organic and paid search, advertising, and in person marketing such as speaking engagements, tradeshows, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Using data analytics software for research
  • Experience with Account Based Marketing (ABM)
  • Experience with Social Marketing
  • Experience in Data Center Market
  • Experience with Fiber Optic Products
  • Working knowledge of digital tools for reaching targeted personas at targeted customers
  • MBA
