Your Job Georgia-Pacific is looking for qualified professionals to be one of our Manufacturing Transformation Leaders (MTL), to provide transformation change leadership, mentoring and coaching talent to efficiently and effectively move organizational efforts with sustainable results within our Consumer Products manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Transformation Leader (MTL) will utilize leadership, influence, manufacturing experience and communication capabilities to develop and implement rapid transformational improvements for priority initiatives. Types of initiatives can be diverse but will typically improve a site's competitive position in regard to production, cost, quality, risk reduction, and organizational effectiveness. The success of this role will be measured in how effectively and efficiently manufacturing sites can be transformed through prioritized initiatives against measured baselines and targets. As such, MTLs will need the ability and courage to coach and effectively challenge several levels of leadership, from senior leaders to front line leaders, as well as shop floor operating and maintenance technicians. MTLs will be expected to have knowledge of new process and technologies that can aid in the transformation while (when applicable) breaking old paradigms. MTLs need to effectively and objectively escalate and remove barriers that are impeding progress on initiatives, while taking ownership to solving barriers that arise. Our Team The MTL will work with other stakeholders to include leadership, the manufacturing facility as well as support capabilities such as engineering, quality, safety, human resources, third party vendors and other partners to drive the initiative. This position will be working in a manufacturing/industrial environment. This role will have high visibility with key site and corporate leadership and will be working as part of a team to deliver significant financial bets to the business. What You Will Do
