Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next HR Generalist in Carleton, MI!

What You Will Do

• Partner with plant leadership to advance their vision, strategy and advance the culture
• Proactively coach and partner with leaders to drive results
• Constructively challenge situations and behaviors that are inconsistent with our values
• Work with leaders and supervisors to help identify, develop and grow the talent within their teams
• Establish and maintain a positive work environment for all employees
• Successfully address employee relations matters throughout the facility
• Recruit, interview and select employees to fill both hourly and salary positions
• Plan and conduct new employee orientation with a focus of our values
• Lead the employee experience through coaching and development
• Some travel for training and/or projects may be required

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience partnering with business leadership to develop and execute strategies
• Experience developing capability in leaders
• Experience working within a HR role and knowledge of HR processes (selection, performance management, talent planning, change management, etc.)

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
• Experience leading a team of direct reports
