Summary of Position The Grossing Technician Trainee will be trained under the supervision of a grossing technician on grossing protocols in preparation for a Grossing Technologist I position. The primary responsibility of the trainee is to learn the various grossing protocols and to assist with workflow in the Grossing department. Tasks may include but are not limited to the SOPs pertaining to this grossing and processing of samples, including, loading tissue processors, block printing, in-take of cases, imaging, decanting expired tissue, and other duties as assigned and required following approved Standard Operating Procedures.
