Your Job

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Scheduler at the Savannah River Mill in Rincon, Georgia. The Maintenance Scheduler will work closely with area maintenance, and operations leaders to provide effective scheduling of weekly and outage work, and continuously improve the planned work process and advancement of precision maintenance methods. This role will be full-time dayshift role and will report to the Maintenance Planning Performance and Capability Leader.

Our Team

Our Savannah River Mill in Rincon, GA began operations in October 1986 and is considered a world-class operation in the industry. Five of the world's 12 largest tissue paper machines reside at the facility. Our operation is designed to produce products primarily from recycled fiber. We have over 50 converting lines that make the tissue, towel, and napkin products in our retail and away from home markets. What You Will Do

  • Work as a communication channel between areas to optimize mill-wide resources
  • Schedule executable work orders based on department priority and scheduled start date
  • Work with Operations and Maintenance to verify equipment and manpower/skill set availability
  • Assist the maintenance department to increase uptime and reliability and achieve results in helping the facility to meet operational excellence goals
  • Participate in prioritization and deviation meetings for various business areas and maintain a weekly schedule of prioritized Work Orders and maintenance resources
  • Work with the Gate Keeper and Performance Coaches to maintain and update Rev Codes as necessary and to identify priorities for scheduling and rescheduling
  • Work with Gatekeeper & OMC to constantly update "Ready to Schedule" backlog, and update the schedule when deviations occur
  • Leverage SAP Business Client Planning Board to meet AMWP Scheduling Workflow
  • Develop "Long Range Scheduling" by Revision Codes

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing multiple tasks concurrently and organizing multiple priorities
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical planning OR experience in manufacturing operations, maintenance, engineering, or reliability
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, etc.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with planning and scheduling large industrial shutdowns and outages
  • Experience working with SAP (or another ERP system) and/or CMMS
  • Experience leading in a team environment
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
  • Mechanical or electrical experience
  • Experience in the pulp or paper industry
