Your Job

Georgia-Pacific is now hiring an in-person Knowledge Management Capability Leader to support our team at our Neenah Technical Center (NTC) in Neenah, WI. This position will lead and help improve the Knowledge Management capabilities at NTC and work closely with areas inside and outside of NTC to build a team-based approach to learning that helps meet the needs of our unique variety of learning opportunities. The position will also work with other groups within GP and Koch to help build Knowledge systems, technologies, and tools to build knowledge sharing capabilities.

The NTC supports Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products Group business through its research and development activities. One of the responsibilities of the Neenah Technical Center is the development, archival and sharing of knowledge. Our team supports development of brands like Dixie plates and cups, Angel Soft bath tissue, Brawny paper towels, and enMotion towels and dispensers. What You Will Do

  • Utilize big-picture thinking to design solutions to knowledge challenges and improve the transfer of Human and Financial capital into valuable long-term knowledge.
  • Develop comprehensive learning and development strategies, programs, and resources tailored to meet the specific needs of the NTC organization.
  • Work with the team on Intellectual Capital Management, providing guidance on investing in talent and capability related to knowledge retention and sharing.
  • Collaborate with NTC team members to identify areas for using knowledge management tools to enhance knowledge sharing capabilities.
  • Foster and build collaboration infrastructure to engage team members in knowledge sharing and gathering practices, continuously improving instructional design, and learning environments.
  • Optimize the process of hybrid learning, considering the mix of on-site and work-from-home team members, and utilizing knowledge technologies like SharePoint and MS Teams.
  • Lead knowledge assessment and evaluation efforts, including performing knowledge audits, benchmarking, and developing metrics to understand and improve performance.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Proven experience in Knowledge Management, Enablement or Learning and Development.
  • Strong understanding of learning methodologies, adult learning principles, and knowledge sharing communities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with knowledge management or enablement activities in science, technology, or engineering (STEM) environment.
  • Experience with change management within an organization.
  • Proven ability to network and communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals and groups across an enterprise.
  • Experience partnering with IT team members to execute solutions.
