SALARY RANGE: $75,000-$95,000 DOE

*Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Proof of eligibility will be required upon hire.

*Experience in the nonprofit or government sector is preferred.

Eckerd Connects is a nonprofit civic and social services organization with programs in 22 states. The role of Pricing Analyst is responsible for data analytics and data-driven pricing recommendations for new business/RFPs in the areas of Workforce Development, Community-Based programs, Foster Care Programs and DCF/DJJ Residential youth facilities. The Pricing Analyst will collaborate with various departments to ensure that pricing strategies align with mission objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor pricing to understand the competitive landscape and provide actionable insight for new and existing business pricing strategies. Responsible for using various research methods to collect the necessary data for data-driven pricing recommendations. Create and maintain pricing databases and tools for easy access to relevant data. Provide ongoing comprehensive financial insight, information, and support to proposal team members to build proposal budgets and complete cost requirements identified in solicitations.
  • Essential FunctionsCollaborate closely with the cross functional teams to develop and implement pricing models for new and existing business utilizing findings from the data collected and practicing cost realism. Continuously refine pricing strategies and tools based on market feedback and performance data to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Assist with developing competitive, compliance, accurate cost proposals.
  • Financial Modeling: Analyze historical data and create financial models to forecast future pricing scenarios. Provide recommendations to senior management based on these models. Provide analytical support for contract negotiations and bids.
  • Competitive Analysis: Research and monitor competitor pricing and market trends. Provide insights and recommendations to maintain competitive advantage while maximizing profitability. Demonstrates a solid understanding of industry-related pricing and cost analysis theory, concepts, and principles; and can broadly apply these concepts.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed pricing reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, program development, and finance to ensure cohesive pricing strategies and effective implementation.
  • Customer Insights: Analyze customer data to understand price sensitivity and elasticity, using insights to inform pricing decisions. Knowledge in customer and workforce identity, including key players in the market.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve pricing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required. Advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Pricing Professional) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a related field in a public or private contracting environment required. Experience in the nonprofit or government
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau). Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledgeable in the laws, ordinances, standards, and regulations pertaining to the specific duties and responsibilities of the position. Familiarity with pricing software and financial modeling techniques.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy. Appropriate and valid state driver's license. Must be able to meet requirements for Eckerd's Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.
