Stony Brook University: Health Sciences: Renaissance School of Medicine: Pediatrics Location Stony Brook, New York Open Date May 07, 2024 Deadline Dec 12, 2024 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description The Division of Adolescent Medicine at Stony Brook Children's Hospital and the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University is seeking a full time Board Certified/Board Eligible Adolescent Medicine physician at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our growing, diverse, and talented team. Candidates must possess or be eligible for New York State licensure. Responsibilities and Requirements: Adolescent medicine physicians provide outpatient primary and subspecialty care for a diverse patient population, ages 12-26, including medical management of eating disorders, reproductive health services, providing gendering affirming care, medication management of mental health conditions, and collaboration with subspecialists to manage chronic illnesses. Additionally, there is some inpatient consultation or management for hospitalized adolescents and young adults on the pediatric inpatient unit at Stony Brook Children's. As an academic institution, this position requires a significant commitment to teaching across the undergraduate to graduate medical education spectrum. Interest in research, scholarship and quality improvement initiatives are highly encouraged.
