Stony Brook University: Health Sciences: School of Dental Medicine: General Dentistry Location Stony Brook, New York Open Date Aug 13, 2024 Deadline Jan 13, 2025 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description The School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook University is seeking applications for two full-time (12-month), clinical-track faculty appointments at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of General Dentistry. The major duties of successful applicants include pre-clinical, clinical, and didactic teaching of all aspects of general dentistry at the dental student and general practice resident levels. Additional responsibilities involve supporting the school's compliance with SBU, SBM and SDM best practices, demonstrating growth in pedagogical skills and an aptitude for scholarship, serving on select school committees, engaging in school governance, and participating in the school's affiliated faculty practice.
