Stony Brook Children's opened in 2019 and has 104 private rooms. We are the only ACS level I pediatric trauma center and tertiary care hospital in the county. We have a 46-bed Level 3 NICU with all-private rooms with 1,000 admissions annually. We have more than 180 pediatric specialists in 30 specialties. Job Description: The Division of Pediatric Surgery, Department of Surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital, is recruiting for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to join our current faculty of 4 surgeons. The ideal candidate will possess advanced surgical skills and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to pediatric patients. As a member of our surgical team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric professionals to deliver comprehensive surgical services to our patients. The selected candidate will be expected to expand and enhance the already existing excellent clinical program and participate in and lead the training of residents and medical students. The selected candidate will also function as a member of the teaching faculty at Stony Brook University Hospital training residents as well as teaching medical students and rotating surgery residents and engaging in clinical research.
