The major duties of successful applicants include pre-clinical, clinical and didactic teaching of all aspects of periodontics at the dental student and periodontics resident levels. Additional responsibilities involve supporting the school's compliance with SBU, SBM and SDM best practices, demonstrating growth in pedagogical skills and an aptitude for scholarship, serving on select school committees, engaging in school governance and participating in the school's affiliated faculty practice.
