The Stony Brook University Department of Surgery and the Division of Otolaryngology invite applications for a full-time Pediatric Otolaryngologist position at our academic practice on Long Island, New York. Situated at the only academic tertiary care hospital in Suffolk County, we serve a diverse population of over 1.6 million individuals. This opportunity presents significant growth potential within our expanding practice. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our current Pediatric Otolaryngologist and integrate with the comprehensive otolaryngology team at Stony Brook Hospital and Stony Brook Children's Hospital. A strong commitment to research and mentoring residents and medical students is essential. Ample resources, including dedicated time, space, and robust support, are available to foster impactful research endeavors.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
MD/DO Degree (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified or Board Eligible and Fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology. Eligible for, or have a license, to practice medicine in New York State.


Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in research and the mentoring of residents and medical students. Publications and clinical experience in Pediatric Otolaryngology. An interest in research and scholarly activity is encouraged.
